I'm a builder. I love to create things. Growing up, that meant making silly YouTube videos with my friends (one of them went viral!). Since then it has meant roasting coffee, sending people bread on their birthdays, a daily newspaper written by AI, an app for splitting the bill on a ski trip, and a breathwork app. What I love is the process: starting from scratch and building something of value.

Right now I'm building Belief Systems. Prediction markets produce prices, but institutions need measurements. So we publish benchmarks that track what the markets believe, and grades for how well each market actually trades. We've published papers on belief indices and belief volatility, and Risk.net wrote about us. I'm also a product manager at SoFi, where I work on crypto.

Before that I worked at Eigen Labs, StellarFi, and Genesis, which for a while was the largest crypto lender in the world. I started at BlackRock, where I spent five years on Aladdin and built a bond trading tool from scratch. My first company made phone apps for zoos.

I write about whatever I can't stop thinking about. Lately that's been eggs, electrolytes, and hourglasses. There are a lot of James Stewarts, so I started a club for us. I have two kids, Dex and Reese.
